Mold Maker / Tool Maker – Build Precision. Build Impact.
Skilled mold makers are the backbone of world‑class manufacturing. If you take pride in craftsmanship, thrive on complex builds, and want to see your work directly support high‑performance injection molding, this role puts you at the center of it.
⭐ What You’ll Do
• Operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, saws, and EDM equipment (CNC WEDM, CNC sinker EDM, manual EDM) with confidence and safety
• Program, set up, and run CNC machining centers
• Interpret customer drawings, 3D files, and part requirements
• Plan mold layouts including materials, gating, venting, parting lines, shrinkage, and heat‑transfer considerations
• Build high‑quality, tight‑tolerance injection molds from start to finish
• Use any machine center needed to achieve the required outcome
• Meet build schedules and support on‑time delivery
• Fine‑tune and repair molds based on feedback from the molding department
• Perform complex mold maintenance and troubleshoot issues with production teams
• Maintain a clean, organized tool room and communicate material/tool needs
• Participate in corrective and preventive action reviews
🎯 What You Bring
• High school diploma (required)
• Minimum 5 years of injection mold building or toolmaking experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
• CAD literacy and general computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proven experience across all major tool room equipment
• Commitment to quality, productivity, and teamwork
• Clear, fluent English communication skills
💼 Job Details
• Job Type: Full‑time, on‑site
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shift
• Pay Range: $50,000–$80,000 per year (based on experience)
