QUALITY CONTROL

AND INSPECTION

Quality is the cornerstone of our business, and Scan Tool takes it very seriously.  Our rigorous standards require that all parts pass First Piece Inspection on key dimensional and visual characteristics prior to the start of every production run.

Quality is easily affected by workmanship, material, and process.  To prevent any dimensional instability, our in-process inspection is carefully monitored, documented, and reviewed frequently within the production cycle.

Further, critical dimensions are monitored in-process using proven SPC techniques such as X-Bar & R charts (as seen below).  All data is recorded and stored on computer, which allows for frequent review throughout the production run.

All Scan Tool & Mold quality procedures are documented and contained in our quality manual.
